Scadoxus

9" tall and the 3" flower head is carried clear of the leaves. A few

Scadoxus
puniceus
Originally, Haemanthus magnificus and known as “The Royal Paintbrush”,
Scadoxus puniceus has a spectacular 5” orange scarlet flower head
on a stout 12 – 16” stem. The flower head is set off by the
bright yellow pollen on a mass of anthers. Best in a min. of 45 deg.F.

Schizostylis
coccinea
Extremely valuable, hardy South African plant giving a spectacular display
from late summer into Nov., requires full sun, shelter from wind and
some moisture during summer. Plants are raised from seed to minimize
virus problems. Colours range from scarlet, salmon pink, very pale blush
pink to white, which is less vigorous than the other colours. 1.5L pot
with several rhizomes.

Solandra

Solandra maxima is a vigorous climbing shrub with huge cup shaped flowers,
opening cream and changing through pale yellow to dark yellow. Once established,
it is very floriferous over a period of 2 or 3 months, but requires a
