Lapageria
rosea

3 year old plants (flowering for the first time) produce the odd flower
in late autumn. Lapageria rosea is supposed to be one of the most beautiful
of all climbers, and the best forms are superb.

The giant honeysuckle from Burma, with scented flowers 6 or 7” long.
Grown from cuttings from a clone that will flower on a plant only 12” high.
Vigorous, and very generous with its flowers. Even as a large plant,
it will produce plenty of flower low down. Needs frost protection.

Member of the Iris family from Brazil, with very unusual and attractive
4” flowers, intense mid-blue with brown, orange and yellow claws.
Neomarica caerulea will grow happily and flower well under glass in good
light with a min. of 42 deg.F.

Neomarica
gracilis
Neomarica gracilis has attractive blue and white flowers. Sometimes
known as the “walking Iris”, the flowers, which appear at
the ends of some leaves are followed by small plants (or offsets) that
make aerial roots, and are only too keen to establish themselves. Very
