Cyrtanthus brachyscyphus

Small evergreen species with heads of bright orange flowers on 12” stems in spring. Very easy, and soon produces offsets that quickly grow to flowering size. One large bulb with some offsets in a 1L deep pot.

Cyrtanthus falcatus

Cyrtanthus falcatus is a superb species with large heads of tubular pale orange pink flowers, each about 3” long. It forms large clumps of bulbs, each bulb often being 5 or 6” across. Flowering size bulbs.

Cyrtanthus Mackennii

Form with masses of shrimp pink flowers borne on 12 – 16” stems in late winter. Very easy, producing lots of offsets that quickly grow to flowering size. Valuable for greenhouse colour when it is at a premium. Three bulbs and some offsets in a 1L deep pot.

Dierama medium

30” flower stems with typical bell shaped mauve flowers appear a couple of weeks before any of the other species. Although hardy, it will grow in a 4 or 5” pot under glass and flower in April. Offered in 1L pot with several corms.
